About

Cloud security, without the catch.

Securing a European cloud should not mean routing it through a non-European one.

Why Skans exists.

Cloud accounts drift. A bucket goes public, a security group opens wider than intended, a key outlives its purpose. The work of security is not knowing this can happen — it is knowing, continuously, whether it has.

Most tools that answer that question are built for the global hyperscalers, not for Europe’s sovereign clouds — and hand your inventory to a vendor under extraterritorial jurisdiction, the CLOUD Act and FISA foremost, beyond the reach of European law. Skans takes the opposite position: built for European clouds, read-only by default, sovereign by design, and clear about exactly what it does.

How we build

A few non-negotiables.

Precise

A short, ranked list of real problems beats a dashboard of noise.

Sovereign

Your data stays in your region. No exceptions, no fine print.

Calm

No alarmism, no dark patterns. The posture holds, or it tells you plainly where it does not.

Open about itself

Read-only access and findings you can explain — no black box.

Who builds it.

Skans is built by a security engineer who spent more than ten years designing and running SOCs — at Thales, then Airbus — and has secured European cloud full-time for the past two years. The goal is simple: a platform you can trust because you can see exactly what it does.
